Quoted Tarrifs, Tarrif Changes and Tarrif Inclusions and Exclusions
All quoted tarrifs are inclusive of VAT and in South African Rands (ZAR). Tarrifs are subject to availability. Prices are charged per room per night for 2 people. Single rates on request. All tariffs quoted are subject to change, without prior notice, however, rates quoted for confirmed bookings will be honoured.
Tarrifs include luxury accommodation, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, salt and pepper and complimentary bottles of water on arrival. Tariffs exclude gratuities, laundry services, transfers, airport transfers and cancellation fees.
Three luxury garden rooms and 3 self-catering units, all individually and uniquely decorated. All units include air conditioning, cotton linen and towels, pool towels, fragrant toiletries, basic consumables (tea, coffee, milk, sugar, salt and pepper), Nespresso coffee machines, kettles, microwaves, fridges/bar fridges, free Wi-Fi, smart TV’s with DSTV (hotel package) and solar power back-up.
Please note that from December to March we operate on a minimum of 3 nights per stay. With a continuous stay of 14 nights, 1 night is free. One night bookings are only possible at short notice and depending on occupancy between May and October.
A deposit of 50% will secure your reservation, with the remaining 50% balance due 20 days prior to arrival. Should payment not be received as stipulated, Sanddrif Guest Farm reserves the right to cancel a reservation. A payment request link via Peach Payments (a secure and trusted payment platform) will be sent to your email address, or should you prefer to make an EFT payment, please use “ACCOMMODATION” along with your name or booking number as the reference. For enquiries related to provisional bookings, a payment request link via Peach Payments will be emailed to you. Should the amount due to reserve the booking not be paid within 7 days of enquiry, Sanddrif Guest Farm reserves the right to cancel the booking.
The following booking cancellation fees apply to the full value of the booking:
If cancelled within 30 days prior to arrival – 50% cancellation fee will be charged.
If cancelled within 14 days prior to arrival – 75% cancellation fee will be charged.
If cancelled within 7 days prior to arrival – 100% cancellation fee will be charged.
Please note that all refunds will incur a 10% administration fee to cover bank charges and additional admin costs.
We accommodate children from 0-12 years of age. Nanny/babysitting services are not available. Additional rates apply for children sharing a room with parents. Infants (0-2 years) are accommodated at an additional R300 per day. This includes the use of a camping cot, a nappy bin and a feeding chair if required. Children (3-12 years) are accommodated at a rate of R700 per day. This includes the make up of a sleeper couch or extra single bed depending on the room.
Arrival and Departure
Check in time is considered as 14:00-18:00 and after 18:00 by prior arrangement only. Should you be unable to check in between these hours, please notify us as soon as possible in order for us to arrange a reasonable check in time accordingly. Check out time is strictly 10:00 at the latest on the morning of your departure.
We ask our guests to please honour these times as our staff need adequate time to deep clean vacated rooms to have them ready by 14:00 in order to be ready for the next arrival of the day.
A late check out will only be considered if arranged in advance and only if possible. If no arrangements have been made and rooms are not vacant by 10:00, guests will be charged for an additional day. If a late check-out is not possible, we will be more than happy to store your luggage securely for you should you require.
We please ask that you notify us should any crockery or glassware be broken during your stay in order for us to replace these items as soon as possible. A breakage fee of R100 will be charged per crockery/cutlery/glassware item broken or missing in order to help us cover the cost of replacements and this will be payable upon departure. If these damages or breakages are noted after your departure, we will be in touch with you and thereafter send a payment link via email. Should any furniture or decor item be damaged or missing, we will be in touch with you to discuss any details and the steps involved to ensure a favourable outcome in replacing the damaged/missing items. Thank you for your understanding in this regard as we try our utmost to provide each guest room with the quality items needed to ensure a comfortable stay.
South Africa has strict non-smoking laws associated with public spaces and guest accommodations. Sanddrif Guest Farm is a smoke-free establishment. Please consider other guests by only smoking in designated areas such as the car park or the terrace area of your room. Please refrain from smoking in your room. Guests who smoke in their rooms will be charged an additional R1 500 in order to cover the fees incurred for the dry cleaning of curtains and furnishings.
No pets are allowed on the property.
Sanddrif Guest Farm Indemnity
All visitors staying and or visiting Sanddrif Guest Farm, who participate in any entertainment activity, make use of the jungle gym, trampoline, swimming pools or play near any other body of water including the river and the dam, do so entirely at their own risk. All minors shall be subject to responsible supervision by an adult at all times.
Sanddrif Guest Farm does not accept responsibility or liability for loss or damage to any property, whether placed in its custody or otherwise, nor for injury to, or death of any persons entering, staying, visiting or participating in any entertainment activity, whether as a result of negligence or breach of this disclaimer on the part of Sanddrif Guest Farm or from any cause whatsoever.
